According to the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001, districts and schools, direct-funded charter schools, and county offices of education that receive Title I funds must jointly develop with and distribute to parents of Title I students the following written documents:

1.  district-level parental involvement policy that is evaluated annually,

2.  school-level parental involvement policy that is updated periodically, and

This workshop will provide information about Title I mandated policies and compacts and what districts and schools need to do to comply with Title I requirements. Tools will be provided.
